Thornham Harbour

£70.00

This hand made linocut print features oystercatchers flying over the creek at Thornham Harbour. The tide is high and a solitary fishing boat is heading out to sea . They say smugglers once plied their trade in the creeks that criss cross the salt marsh. Now the Coal Barn is almost all that remains of Thornham's once-bustling harbour. The solitary coal barn, which has stood on this site for three hundred years can be seen in the distance. The view is framed by convolvulus and sea beet.
